“Papa haereticus”—an Answer to His Reverence Carlo Viganò
by Eberhard Heller
My statement attempts to avoid the conundrum (aporia) in Viganòs presentation, by stating that the main argument [against] is that he does not admit that the current Sede vacante has been ongoing since Paul VI.
Dear H.H. Viganò, your treatise on the theological machinations of Mr. Bergoglio, of whom you say you cannot “officially declare that Jorge Mario Bergoglio is not Pope,” ends in a conundrum [aporia].
In what follows, I do not assume the position that I myself represent. For me, a clarification of the Bergoglio case is only of pastoral importance in order to open the eyes of spiritual “late risers” and late bloomers. But I am trying to clarify theologically from your position, i.e. immanently, a situation that rightly keeps you biased. You justify your reluctance in this judgment against Bergoglio by saying that “we do not have the authority to do so,” but you do not explain your position further. According to you, any possibility of actively taking action against the usurper Bergoglio and prosecuting him legally is ruled out. “The terrible impasse we find ourselves in makes any human solution impossible. Our task MUST NOT be to indulge in abstract speculations as canonists.” That is, according to you, God allows that there can be a situation in His church from which, in your opinion, it cannot free itself and it would be at the mercy of hopelessness. That would mean, in the case of Bergoglio, you only see a “biological” solution, i.e. through his physical death. Again, I do not assume that there is such an aporia, as we have already impressively demonstrated since 1982, through the Declaratio of His Excellency Ngô-dinh-Thuc, who declared the See of Peter vacant.
Could it be that your reluctance in the case of Bergoglio is due to the fact that you are relying on the principle “Prima Sedes a nemine judicatur.” (The primatial chair can not be judged by anyone.) This sentence, which Pope Gregory VII already mentioned in... his “Dictatus Papae” from 1075, “Quod a nemine ipse iudicari debeat” (that he may not be judged by anyone) still remains valid, since in the case of Bergoglio it is not the Pope, but the usurper Bergoglio, whose illegitimacy can be established. Therefore it would be a judgment of worthiness, but rather an assertoric statement: is.
In the present case, such a conclusion would be very easy to make, since Bergoglio took great pains to drop all the masks of orthodoxy. Recently, clerics have even been allowed to “bless” gay couples. The Vatican declaration "Fiducia supplicans" of December 18, 2023 allows such a "blessing", although the Vatican had still excluded the homosexual blessing in 2021.
Iam thinking particularly of his adventure in Abu Dhabi. Have you already forgotten how he signed—mind you: signed—a document in which he—Bergoglio—claimed that "pluralism (...) in relation to religion" corresponds to a "wise divine will". And what does this assertion tell us? That the many conflicting religions with their respective gods or deities come from God—from which God?—are intended that way; a “God” who lets his wisdom prevail in which, for example, Christianity is represented by a representative who does not want to admit that his followers are being bloodily persecuted by the followers of Islam worldwide. “Open doors” lists 330 million Christians for the last year alone—four times the population of Germany—who are attacked, driven out and murdered, primarily by Islamists ... and who are shamefully betrayed by their “Vicar of Christ”. This is the Bergoglio who does not believe in anything [Catholic]. Is this situation so difficult to understand in order to judge him as an apostate? Is this what your Mr. Bergoglio means by the “wisdom of God”? And do you want, your Reverence Carlos Viganò, to continue to claim that you cannot “officially declare that Jorge Mario Bergoglio is not Pope”? What else has to happen for you to give up your justifiable restraint? Do you still want to sell this perfidious man as Pope to your clientele?... You do not need to just “officially” classify him as unfit to hold office, but as a usurper. You can make such a declaration without this attribute as “ex caritate”, not as “ex officio”, because you no longer hold an official office.
You introduce the Church Doctor, St. Bellarmine: "When St. Robert Bellarmine hypothesized the heresy of the Roman Pope as a school case, he imagined a Pope who, believing himself to be Catholic, adhered materially or formally to a particular heresy, in a general context, in which the social and ecclesiastical body is Catholic. He could not even imagine that an emissary of Freemasonry could get himself elected Pope in order to destroy the Church from within and usurp and abuse the power of the Papacy itself." Even without the case of Masonic infiltration, however, the Answer clear: The “Papa haereticus” is “depositus”, because it was clear to St Robert Bellarmine that a heretic cannot be pope. If this applies to a (normal) heretic who lacks certain truths of faith, the removal becomes all the more urgent when this occupier sets out to demolish the entire church. And the longer you let Bergoglio do his work, the worse it will get. The German “Synodal Way”, in which the Churchs sexual teaching is changed or falsified, will soon receive Romes approval.
If your Reverence Viganò would just look around do you still see any regions in which the Catholic faith is taught and lived integrally? It is the same worldwide as we have been making it public for decades—in fact, since Vatican II, the church has drifted ever deeper into apostasy. From our point of view, the matter is that Bergoglio and his predecessors down to Paul VI at least were heretics or are. When Bergoglio was elected—he was in fact elected by the majority of the so-called cardinals—there was neither an orthodox majority of the electing cardinals nor a group of “minor et sanior” that could have legitimized the election. So we rely on St. Bellarmine and St. Cajetan, who expanded the formula “Papa haereticus est depositus”: “Papa haereticus deponendus est” (“a heretical pope must be declared deposed”) because the church is a visible institution. She must be informed of this fact.
In normal times, a meeting of cardinals would meet in a convention to make a determination of heresy ... in a convention, for only a pope could call a council. The cardinals would then have to deal with the election of a new pope. The election of a pope involves the election of the bishop of Rome. The difficulty that arises from the current situation is that the current electoral law cannot be applied: there are no orthodox cardinals who could hold the election. That is why one would have to look into the history of the right to elect a Pope in order to find a suitable procedure or model for an election. The Pope is Pope because he is Bishop of Rome.
Unfortunately, such a canonical meeting never took place, neither in the time of Archbishop Ngô-dinh-Thuc, which required him to publish his Declaratio ex caritate, nor today, when we could be swept away into the vortex of apostasy.
In describing the deposing of popes during the Middle Ages, Harald Zimmermann „Papstabsetzungen des Mittelalter“ Graz 1968), writes, among several others, the account about the deposition of John XII, Leo XIII. and Benedict V. You may also refer to the bull "Cum ex Apostolatus officio" of Pope Paul IV (signed on February 15, 1559), which states in paragraph 6 that "prelates and bishops who, before their elevation, had manifestly apostatized from the Catholic faith automatically lose all authority and office. Their elevation is void and cannot be made valid in any way.” This passage applies to Bergoglio in many ways.
But how do you structure your relationship with a person about whom you say: “I repeat: we are not dealing with a situation where a pope adheres to one specific heresy (which, moreover, Bergoglio has done repeatedly). No. The situation is rather that a man was sent into the conclave with orders to revolutionize the Church from the top, while sitting on the Chair of Peter.” To make this situation more clear: What do you do if Satan is hiding behind the person elected in the conclave? Who would “excommunicate” you because you would not kneel before him? Would you then abandon your cautious stance: “The terrible impasse in which we find ourselves makes any human solution impossible.” Do you stick with it? Or can you imagine representing the Sedi Vacancy, because the catastrophe does not end in an aporia, but in an act of liberation.
In an article published by the SSPX (the Econe Fraternity) on September 21, 2020, you are quoted with a remarkable statement on the Sedevacantists: In a clear refutation of sedevacantist claims, Archbishop Viganò urges the faithful: “We must not give in – despite our justifiable indignation – to the temptation to abandon the Catholic Church on the pretext that it has been invaded by heretics and whoremongers: they are the ones must be expelled from the holy enclosure in a work of purification and penance ...” First I do not see anything of a "clear refutation". And who have you already driven out? Perhaps you could start with a new evangelization. But you will soon find that it is much more difficult to banish from the minds [of Catholics] the false and erroneous ideas that have been implanted for over 50 years than it is capable for the living truth to flow like early morning dew into the souls of the innocent non-believers. It is not meant to be sarcasm, but rather concern. What have you read of our writings? Probably not much, otherwise you would know that we are not thinking of “abandoning the Catholic Church”, but the concern of His Excellency, Archbishop Ngô-din-Thuc, was to build up the Church, because “as a bishop [Thuc]... it is my duty, to do everything to assure the preservation of the Roman Catholic Church for the eternal salvation of souls.” (Declaratio). We in the editorial team of EINSICHT have always emphasized that one of the primary tasks we have totackle is to advance the restitution of the Church as an institution of salvation.
Your Reverence Carlo Viganò, you have already achieved so much. You were and are the only cleric in the world who not only cared about the well-being of his flock, but who also exposed the programs of the globalists, the Great Reset, the deep state, etc.—which you also do in this article—and have built an increasingly larger community that takes advantage of your contributions and is very grateful to you. You further specify this situation: “Arsons, floods due to lack of maintenance or destructive atmospheric phenomena provoked by geo-engineering are presented as the inevitable consequences of the supposedly man-made climate change in order to be able to force us into new restrictions, which are the real subversive goal of the globalist elites. The same pattern that is now being applied to climate change was already applied to the psycho-pandemic and the energy crisis—and just like yesterday, it also applies today: Anyone who has a different opinion will be criminalized, regardless of the validity of their arguments. However, the repetition of the same pattern opens the eyes of many people who recognize the danger and understand that crises and emergencies are intended to serve as a pretext to enforce tyrannical restrictions on fundamental rights." "The biggest annoyance" is Bergoglios submission to the agenda of the New World Order, summarized in the recent audience for the WHO chief, to issue eco-orders tomorrow, just as they issued orders on the mRNA gene serum yesterday.” “The previously silent majority must make themselves heard and coordinate.”
I, a Sedevacantist, have also published contributions from you that were happily accepted by readers, because the destruction of our Catholic tradition and our freedom concerns us all if we do not want to be washed away by the waves of the Great Reset. And the silent majority has recently been learning to organize itself more and more. I have just received news that you have ordered the Swiss Guard to arrest Fernandez and Bergoglio. Bravo!
Regardless of the theological analysis of the Bergoglian disaster, the question remains of that role you have played in the modernist Church and whether you can honestly be accused of things from which you should free yourself. I hope that you will find the long way into the true tradition. But the journey can be long because there are various hurdles to overcome. The Church has not forgotten that your home was the modernist Church, which was and is caught up in the heresies of the post-conciliar era: the modern liturgy (from which you freed yourself and found your way back to the true Mass), false understanding of the Church: "Lumen gentium", Chapter 16: "But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind." "Nostra Aetate", Par. 3. “The Church regards with esteem also the Moslems. They adore the one God" Ecumenism and all tangible heresies you would need to renounce in order to be recognized as a faithful Catholic and priest.
You say you want to set up a seminary similar to the one Lefevre opened near Viterbo. We made our criticism of the head of Econe known early on because his program was contradictory. This seminary today in Econe is firmly implemented in the Bergoglian system, which Schmidberger, a former student colleague of mine, confirmed in his newsletter last year. (In this context, I would like to refer to my open letter to Abbé Schmidberger: “My Pope, the Apostate” INSIGHT No. 6/2023, p. 198) I am assuming that you do not want to play exactly this role. Your work in Viterbo, Reverend Viganò, is called “Exsurge Domine” and “aid for clerics, religious and consecrated persons who are victims of the Bergoglian Regime.” They rightly accuse Bergoglio of not representing the church, but only a “sect” within the Church that wants to subject the Church to the “Woke New World Order” and thereby “pave the way for the Antichrist.” (Catholic, July 28, 2023)
Well see which path you want to take next. I would like to invite you, freed from the nightmares of the Bergogliano sect, to visit the Camp of the Sedevacantísts to find your new home there. With this in mind, I remain with respectful greetings.
